After nearly 2 years, we are filled with joy to welcome the Torah to our community. Please save the date for the formal inauguration ceremony. There is still time to participate in the the writing of the Torah.

The 613th and final mitzvah in the Torah is that every Jew writes his own Sefer Torah. Our Rabbis have taught that one can fulfill this mitzvah by dedicating a portion or even one letter in a Torah.

You'll learn the key terms, logical principles, and historical context required to decode every part of the Talmudic page. Plus, see how it became central to Jewish life and why it inspires fascination, debate, and study today.
This course take place on Tuesdays from January 28, 2025 to March 4, 2025, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: WATERLOO REGION MATZAH DRIVE

Select a route and deliver matzah within your community. Load up your vehicle with your family/friends and some matzah to ensure every Jew in the region has matzah for Pesach. Most routes are about 1 hour and deliver to 10-15 homes.
