Welcome to Chabad's High Holiday services!
The Hebrew word for prayer is "Tefillah," which also means "self evaluation." We believe that old stuffy services can be reinvigorated with an emphasis on personal growth and reflective meditation, and our services are designed to allow and encourage precisely that.
Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in the most meaningful way. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service. Rabbi Goldman provides an English running commentary of explanatory and meaningful insights. It's time for a reset; join us!
All services will take place outdoors in a spacious tent in the backyard of the Chabad House, 251 Albert Street.
Please bring your own
kipa/tallit
, if possible. We will have limited new kipas available.
There is no charge for attending services or meals at Chabad, thanks to our generous supporters. However, RSVPs are required to attend.
